New level competition
This competition is a competition

WHAT THAT REALLY MEANS-

I am starting a competition for lemmings levels, IN LEMEDIT.  What you have to do is make a story about the lemming's travels, and make levels corresponding to it.  You can make from 5 to 10 levels, and each level must have it's own section.

Scoring will be on-

Story quality 20 points pssble

Level difficulty 10 points pssble (If level is impossible, score is 0, very hard but beatable level gets a 10)

Is the level fun? 10 points pssble

creativity 10 points pssble

TOTAL 50 points.

Whoever gets the most points wins.  All level-story packs will be judged at the same time.  Scince this competition demands a bit of work, the deadline for levels is May 5th.

"Good luck!"-SF64

Re: New level competition
Ooh! It sounds like fun! :D B) :D

Just a suggestion, wouldn't it be better in Cheapo? Then we could make our own styles and lemmings to suit the theme! Although that would require a lot more work, and the deadline would have to be significantly longer, I think it would be worth it.

 So, how about it?

BTW, your opening line make laugh!

Re: New level competition
If I have the time to make a large project like this, I'm in. It's a neat idea, and can make for some rather clever levels.

Well, alright, I guess cheapo is an option.

Also, deadline is moved-June 15th, nice and sunny, noooo school B).

Re: New level competition
OK, if Cheapo is acceptable I'll have a go as well.

Re: New level competition
Yes you can make styles.  Just be sure to send them.

What does that mean?  It means each level must have it's own section of the story which it corresponds to.

Notice:  About 25 days left until the due date.  That's a pretty good cushion of time left.

Re: New level competition
Hm... I lack at storywriting. And I have no idea of making styles in cheapo. But I really like the idea. I should more often check the Editing section... xD

Re: New level competition
So again ( I've deleted three of these type of posts so far) is anyone going to do anything ever?  I just need to know if I should be expecting anything.

Re: New level competition
Yeah that is where everyone is, and so far it's going well.  I wonder what Conway will do...

Well, I have an idea.  I'll make a special pack of levels with a storyline in a readme file so there'll be a pack like this.

 I haven't even thought about this! :-( I honestly don't know. Don't expect anything for a while.

Re: New level competition
Well, I meant for the group level thing but now I've got the answer to that.

It would be great though to see someone submit something for this contest.
