Features
A bit later, but finally I did it. The forum works again.

My question is: I didn't get the poll to work. I could try it another time again, or leave it.
What do you want?

Re: Features
I'm not sure we really need polls, but then again they might come in handy. I never use polls :P
But if other people want them, go for it :D

Re: Features
I'm afraid of adding them again. It might crash the forum again. But if you want.

Re: Features
Personally I'd rather have a working forum with no polls. But I'm not going to try to stop you either way.

Re: Features
Ahhh. YaBB2...

Features?
The list is NOT complete and is a fast overview of the most important and often asked features.
They are only additional features which are not in the current YaBB releases - they are "standard"
-infinite sub categories
-Portal
-Sessions and other security improvements
-file upload/Attachments
-Polls
-easy to use installation script and converter
-Who can read, post, respond rights
-better IM-System (something like the advanced instant message-mod does)
-easy to customize templates for each page ( in princip normal HTML-pages with some extra code-elements)
-mass move, delete, lock, sticky
-sorting in messagindex, IM-box, memberlist
-even better admin-center
-membergroups better customizable
-ability to add own smilies and perhaps also BBC's
-better code layout, oop, database support, "faster"
-recycle-bin for messages??
-archive??

Re: Features
So this is just YaBB, and they came out with YaBB2? And you can't have polls with the normal one?

Re: Features
Looks cool! Will you be installing it? Will it be compatible with the current accounts and posts?

Re: Features
When it's out, there will be a converter and an "easy installer script". Let's hope the best.
